PhD Research Scholars Ms. Vibhuti Chauhan and Mr. D. V. Prashant, working under the guidance of Dr. D. P. Samajdar (Department of ECE), won the Best Paper Awards in the 5th International Conference DevIC 2023, organized by IEEE KGEC Student Branch Chapter and Department of ECE, KGEC held in Kalyani Government Engineering College, India during 7th-8th April, 2023.

Mr. Ashish Yadav (supervisors: Dr. Manu Srivastava and Prof. P.K. Jain) has won the Best Paper Presentation Award at the 7th International Conference on Production and Industrial Engineering (CPIE 2023).

Jaiswal has been awarded the Best Paper Presentation Award in the International Conference AFMFP-2022 held at NIT Jalandhar during 06-08 August 2022.

TCS CodeVita Season 10: Final Results We are proud to announce that our Pre-final Year student Harshit Shri Shri Mal has been selected for the grand finale of TCS CodeVita Season-10 contest after clearing 2 rigorous levels. He is among the top 25 students who will compete in Grande Finale Soon.

A Team of 4 Btech students(Siddharth Rama Sushil (2019151,ME), Ayush Kumar (2019041, ECE), Ashi (2019034, ME), and Mandar Ulhas Salunkhe (2019140,ME)) won the FIRST PRIZE of Rs. Ten lakhs at the "National Innovation Challenge TECHgium 5th Edition" by L&T Technology Services Limited in which over 30,000 students participated from 450 top colleges and universities. More...

M.Tech CSE students Rohan Dhanraj Atale, Anuhav Gupta, Suyash Saxena, and Abhishek Chouhan under the mentorship of Dr. Munesh Singh, Assistant Professor CSE participated in the International level Hardware Hackathon hosted by UPES School of Computer Science. Institute team designed the hardware prototype for Smart Street Lighting System. The final round was held in UPES school of Computer Science on 25/04/2022 and our institute team secured the second position with a reward of Rs 75000/-.

Ph.D. research scholar Mr. Harvindra Singh working under the guidance of Dr. L K Balyan in the Department of Natural Sciences (Mathematics) at PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur has won the First Prize in the 37th M.P. Young Scientist Congress, jointly organized by M.P. Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal & Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, Chitrakoot on March 14-17, 2022 and was rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 /-.

Dr. Himansu Sekhar Nanda from Mechanical Engineering Discipline has been offered to work as a Research Scientist at Terasaki Institute of Biomedical Innovation, Los Angeles, California from 2022-2023. During the long leave, Dr. Nanda will work with one of the World's Most Influential Scientific Mind Prof. Ali Khademohiseini (Director and CEO of the Terasaki Institute; Professor, University of California, Los Angeles; Professor, Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Harvard University and Director of Center for Minimally Invasive Therapeutic, Massachusetts Institute of Technology C-MIT).

Paper entitled "Comparative Analysis of Surface Quality and Geometrical Feature for Deformation Machining in Bending Mode" authored by Ankit Gupta, Hashal Shahare, Pavan Kumar, Denis Pustovoytov, Hailiang Yu, Alexander Pesin, and Puneet Tandon has been awarded the Best Paper Award in the 2nd International Conference on Industrial and Manufacturing Systems held during 11-13 November, 2021, organized by Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar.

Four faculties ( Dr. Anil Kumar, Dr. Varun Bajaj, Dr. Rakesh Jha and Dr. Biswajeet Mukherjee) of IIITDMJ have been listed as top 2% researchers and Scientist in the world by Stanford University.

PDPM IIITDMJ Student Team has won the International Chess Competition, out of 160 teams participated, organized by Collegiate Chess League 2021

PhD student Ms Vibhuti Chauhan won the Best Researcher Award at the International Symposium on Materials of the Millennium: Emerging Trends and Future Prospects (MMETFP-2021) held at Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar, India from November 19-21, 2021. Her research topic was Performance Investigation of Ferroelectric Spacers for Negative Capacitance FinFETs.

Ph.D. student Mrs. Meha Agrawal under the guidance of Dr. Trivesh Kumar won the Best Paper Award in the 6th International Conference on Micro-Electronics, Electromagnetics and Telecommunications held on 27-28th August 2021.The title of her paper was " Wideband Substrate Integrated Waveguide Based Dual Polarized Antenna for Satellite Applications in Ku-band"

PhD student Mr. Ankit Dixit won the "Best Research Award" under the conference title of "Engineering and Theoretical Physics" in Student's Research Convention (SRC) - 2021 held at IIT, Kanpur from 27th-28th March 2021

Ph.D. student Mr. Varun Chaudhary won the 36th MP Young Scientist Award with the First Position and rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 /- on March 23-26, 2021. He is presently working on EMI mitigation techniques, and the work presented by him in the M.P. Young Scientist Congress is a part of his thesis work.

Research paper titled "Effect of nozzle inclination angle on the performance of hybrid jet impingement microchannel heat sink" by Jyoti Pandey (PhD Scholar, MED) won the "Best Presenter Award" in the First International Conference on Future Technologies in Manufacturing, Automation, Design and Energy (ICoFT 2020 MADE@NITPY) held during 28-30 December 2020 at National Institute of Technology Puducherry.

Research paper of Adarsh Kumar Singh, Ankit Nayak, Narendra Kumar and Prashant K. Jain titled "3D Printing of 2D Digital Image" won the best paper award in the International Conference on Industrial and Manufacturing Systems, CIMS 2020, held at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India during November 09-11 October 2020.

Jain, Ankit Nayak and Vivek Kumar Gupta , titled "Optimization of Direct Slicing Process Using Dicoms for Additive Manufacturing" won the best paper award in the International Conference on Industrial and Manufacturing Systems, CIMS 2020, held at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India during November 09-11 October 2020.

Mr. Neeraj Kumar Bhoi (1713603) Research Scholar of Department of Mechanical Engineering at PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur has won the First Prize in the 35th MP Young Scientist award, organized by M. P. Council of Science and Technology at Shri G.S.Institute of Technology and Science, Indore. He is working under supervision of Dr. Harpreet Singh and Dr. Saurabh Pratap. He is presented the paper title "An innovative and sustainable manufacturing process for uniform sintering and cladding in microwave field" on 28-29 Feb 2020.

Ms. Monika Chauhan, Research Scholar of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur was conferred the Young Scientist Award in the discipline of Electrical and Electronics Engineering for her research paper "Edge Grounded Perforated Equilateral Triangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna". She is working under supervision of Dr. Biswajeet Mukherjee. She presented her research paper at 35th M.P. Young Scientist Congress held on 28-29 Feb 2020 at Shri G.S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore. 35th M.P. Young Scientist Congress is organized by M.P. Council of Science and Technology for encouraging budding scientists towards fulfilling their research plans and programs.

Ankit Nayak, Ph.D. student in mechanical discipline, presented his research paper in the 2019 International Conference on "Physics and Mechanics of New Materials and Their Applications" (PHENMA 2019). The conference was held at Hanoi University of science and technology, Hanoi, Vietnam during November 7-10, 2019. His presentation on "Acquisition and Analysis of Endodontic Hand-piece Vibration Signals" won the best presentation award of the PHENMA 2019

Mr. Abhishek Patel, a student of our Institute, won Silver Medal in Doubles Fairway Event in the 17th Sr. National Woodball Championship-2019 held at Nagpur, Maharashtra from 14th to 17th July,2019.

The Indian Woodball team led by Mr. Abhishek Patel, a student of our Institute, secured 5th position in the 2nd World Cup Woodball Championship - 2019 held at Uganda (Africa) from May 25 to May 31, 2019.

Dr. Pritee Khanna is the Co-chair, special session on "Soft Computing: Current Trend of Machine Learning in Computer Vision" in 2019 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) during October 6- 9, 2019, Bari, Italy.

Abhishek Patel, a student of our Institute (M. Tech, ECE), has been Selected in the Indian Woodball team as a Player for 2nd Beach World Cup Woodball Championship going to be held in Uganda (Africa) from 25/05/2019 to 31/05/2019.

Mr. Gaurav Mishra, Research Scholar, CSE, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur is conferred with Young Scientist Award in the discipline of Computer science and Information Technology during 34th M.P. Young Scientist Congress held at RGPV Bhopal-2019.

Sumedh Supe, Samarth Soni, and Ritik Varshney, as well as Aashish Gupta, Katyayani Trivedi, Berly Biju, and Anuj Tiwari students of B.Tech, won the First and Second prizes of Space Settlement and Hackathon events respectively and other two events (AstroTreasure and Lost Explorer) have also winners received from following students Ankit Tiwari, Arnav Deep, Mukul Mishra, and Hitendra Singh, as well as Aditya Baurai and Prasham Prabhakar in Techkriti is an annual inter-collegiate technical fest at IIT Kanpur 7th-10th March, 2019.

Our Institute won Gold in Badminton and Table Tennis and Bronze in Discus Throw in Inter - IIIT Sport Meet 2019 held at IIIT Allahabad from 14th - 17th February 2019.

Dr. Varun Bajaj has been selected as the subject editor in one of the reputed journals - IET Electronics Letters.

Design (MDes) students Shivam Bharti, Rakesh Kumar Sahu, Avinash Sahu won an award in student category among 117 international entries in the International conference ' UX India - 2018 ' held in Bangalore. The topic of their presentation was User Experience Design for customised tailored clothes.

Ms. Shivangi Pande(B.Des. student) was also among the top 5 award winners. Incidentally, out of top 5, two teams were from IIITDM Jabalpur, one from Shristi, one from IIT Hyderabad and one from USA.

Dr. Manoj K. Panda has been selected in Visiting Fellowship Programme 2018-19, JAWAHARLAL NEHRU CENTRE FOR ADVANCED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, Bangalore, India.

Dr. Pritee Khanna served as the Guest Editor for Special Issue on "Computational Intelligence for Biomedical Data and Imaging" in ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications (ACM TOMM), Dec 2018.

Paper titled "Temperature and thermal stress distribution in underwater friction stir welding of aluminium plates" by Anil Kumar (MTech scholar) and Sonika Sahu (PhD Scholar) under supervision of Dr MZ Ansari (MED) won "Best Paper Award" under Industrial Engg. & Sustainable Mfg. Techniques stream at International Conference on Contemporary Research in Mechanical Engineering with Focus on Materials and Manufacturing (ICCRME-2018) at IUL, Lucknow.

"Mr. Arjun R Harish student of B.tech (Mechanical Engineering), final year, received an International summer fellowship in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. He will work with Prof Huang and Dr. Saurabh Pratap in joint collaboration of a research work in the domain of " In-bound and out-bound transportation for the E-commerce logistics company". He has signed a contract of fellowship 12000 HKD/month from June 2018 to Nov 2018. In world ranking, the University of Hong Kong is overall, 27th rank and 1st rank in Hong Kong."

Mr. Arun Pant (M.tech.scholar) in the ECE discipline won "Best Paper Award"in wireless stream at Optical & Wireless Technologies Conference (OWT) 2018 held in MNIT Jaipur.

Mr. Vishal Francis, Ph.D. student in mechanical discipline, presented paper in "2018 International Joint Conference on Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering" which was held at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, during 24-26 February 2018. The paper titled was "Surface Modification Approach for FDM Rapid Prototypes by Organically Modified Montmorillonite nanoparticles".
