PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur has just begun the second phase of its placement process and the students from the batch graduating in 2020 have already received a total of 177 offers including 149 full time offers and 28 pre-placement offers, which includes offers made by Vassar Labs, Coviam & IBM-ISL. 3 students from its Computer Science Department bagged the highest pay package of over Rs. 23 Lakhs and 15 other students got pay packages close to Rs.15 Lakhs and Rs. 14 Lakhs From the corporate giants namely:-
Microsoft, Amazon, Reliance JIO, Samsung R&D, Yantriks, 1mg, LensBricks etc.
Currently, the campus average compensation is Rs. 9.9 Lakhs and the median is Rs. 8.5 Lakhs inclusive of all Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs.
Some of the top companies which recruited from the campus include Brahmos Aerospace, Zolo Stays, Desmania, Thence, Global Logic, American Express, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Ericsson Global and PlayGames 24x7, ITH Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Carnot Technologies, Thoughtworks.
Meanwhile, Brahmos Aerospace selected 2 shining stars for the positions in the Core Industry. 1 student has bagged a 28 Lakhs PPO offer from Amazon.
Other Companies that also recruited from the institute were Infosys (35 offers), Capgemini (31 offers), LTI (12 offers), Ericsson Global (10 offers), Quantiphi (7 Offers), TCS (7 offers) and Oracle OFSS (5 offers).
Also, pre-placement offers (PPOs) are expected from students pursuing their internships at companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM-ISL, ISRO, DRDO, Oracle, 1MG, AMD, Vassar Labs, Coviam, KPIT Cummins, Cummins, Eaton, and Accolite.
PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur focuses on Information Technology enabled Design and Manufacturing. It is one of the four fully government-funded IIIT's and declared to be the Institute of National Importance by Government of India under IIIT Act by the MHRD, New Delhi.
Established in 2005, the Institute has grown to be recognized as one of the most promising young institutions for education and research in India. In recognition of its performance, it was ranked 75 among engineering colleges by NIRF 2019.
The Institute has witnessed another successful year in campus placements, which broke new grounds during 2019-20 and shattered previous records. More companies are expected to visit the campus in the second phase of the placement season by the end of April 2020.
