Micro & Nano Electronics Lab
Discipline Of ECE, PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur
Micro and Nano Electronics

This lab is a part of the Discipline of Electronics and Communication Engineering and is involved in fundamental and applied research in the fields of Compact Modeling and Simulation of devices, Low Power VLSI Design, Study and Analysis of 2D materials for electronic applications, solar photovoltaic cells, solar charge controller circuits, emerging novel devices viz. NCFET, FinFET, TFET, I-MOS, JLFET, JLTFET, MOS-HEMT, Memristors etc. MNE lab is equipped with high end EDA tools from Cadence, Silvaco, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, (Sentaurus and HSpice), Xilinx. MATLAB is used for mathematical modeling of devices. The above tools are extensively used in research by our Doctorate, Masters and Undergraduate students resulting in high quality publication in reputed journals and conferences. So far 11 Ph.D students have utilized resources of MNE lab for successful completion of their research work. Currently, 12 Ph.D and 15 M.Tech students are doing their research work at MNE Lab. MNE lab is partially funded by Meity (C2SD-SMDP) and DST projects.
