MAA SARASWATI GIRLS HOSTEL is one of the newest hostels of PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh established exclusively for the female scholars in the year 2020. In three years of its advent, it has carved a niche not only in establishing itself as an abode for girl scholars but has also produced several alumni who made a mark in various fields. It has a total of 169 rooms that houses around 265 girls. There is a dedicated gymnasium, common rooms, a state of the art glass reading room, TV room, etc. Dedicated badminton and volley ball courts as well as open gymnasium facilities will come up soon in the hostel Hostel has high speed WI-FI LAN Internet facility for all rooms. The premise is under CCTV Surveillance on 24 x 7 basis. The hostel has autonomous working with support from the office of Dean of Students’ welfare. A dedicated team of girl scholars headed by the warden constitutes the hostel working committee that takes care of the day to day working of the hostel. Two dedicated caretakers and an impressive quantum of housekeeping staff is available almost round the clock for the hostel support. The hostel also has a dedicated all women canteen run by the exquisite venture of the MP government for the underprivileged women called Didi Café. Two beautiful gardens add feather to the cap one of which Maa Saraswati Udhyan adds an unparalled aura of divinity to this hostel. These gardens are maintained by dedicated gardener throughout the year. It is a genuine endeavour of the authorities to provide best in class facilities top the scholars to facilitate their all-round development and to provide a Home Away From Home for its residents.
