The Automotive and Fabrication Club. As the name itself suggests the clubs invokes learning in students by incorporating two major topics which form the building blocks of all the engineering sciences.
Here at AFC we believe in "Creating to Learn, Learning to Create" and try to build out of the very basic laws provided by the nature. Constituting of a huge participation from all the years of the UG program we are an ever growing and an ever learning family.
Events
Emphasizing on the most natural ways of learning we have always been looking forward to and working towards churning out solutions to the present days problems by looking up towards the very basic building blocks of science by incorporating hydraulics, simple mechanics, combustion systems etc to construct awe inspiring machines.

Projects
Projects for students to take up real life machines and combine electronics, robotics and mechanical systems to bring their ideas to life
"If only man could have wings........ " Though he does not and at present cannot have a set of wings for himself he, on the bright side, has successfully engineered machines which took airborne with speeds that are greater than the sound. In attempt towards working and improvising this achievement of mankind we at the Automotive & Fabrication Club design our own flying machine with the best sources available
with a powerful A 2212 1400KV Brushless motor pumping blood at the rate of 1400 rpm to its main propeller, a fluidly aerodynamic depron body 4.8v (1.80 kg-cm)servo motors for manoeuvring and a 1000mAh 3S li-po 11.1 /20c battery for ample power it soars in the air like bird in its natural habitat.
Total weight: 480gms to 530gms.
Wing span: 35 inches
Motor Speed: 1400 rpm (Brushless DC)
Fuselage length: 26.25 in
Controls: 2.4 GHz 6 Channel Radio Control System
Body Material: Depron
The Throttle Car
Do not go by its size. This miniature version of a super car is brutally powerful and obscenely flamboyant and is unburdened by reality. Unflappably stable and crazy fast, it’s capable of amazing performance without feeling like it’s going to snap-spin into a ditch, which is refreshing in any machine which incorporates an IC Engine. With the looks of a naked roadster, it has a 3.48 cc nitro engine and a torque of 6.48 kg-cm and 2.4 GHz, 3 Channel radio control system for steering throttling and breaking.
For the ultimate, the throttle car is a beast born and bred in the arenas of IIITDMJ and claims a top speed of 40 mph in our testing
Engine: 3.48 cc
Chassis Metal: Mild Steel Plate.
Wheelbase: 322mm (12.7 in)
Control System: 2.4 GHz 3 Channel Radio Control System
