The IoT and Embedded Systems research group aims to develop a connected, secure, and smart Internet of Things (IoT) based platform, empowered with machine learning and data analytics, to address economic, social, environmental, and business needs. A separate IoT lab has been developed in the discipline that is equipped with enough embedded boards like ARM CORTEX, Arduino, Raspberry Pi boards, etc with various sensors and actuator modules. The open-source cloud platforms are utilized for data storage and analytics. The research group provides opportunities to work with new and existing datasets, apply information science and AI procedures to reveal new experiences and essential data, or fabricate new applications in healthcare, agriculture, retail, etc. The research group has also undertaken several research projects. Many research papers in reputed International Journals and conference papers have been published in this area by the faculty members and students of the group.
