The Image Processing and Computer Vision is a research group under the Computer Science & Engineering discipline at the PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur. This research group is dedicated to understanding visual processes and finding solutions for outstanding visual processing and perception problems, as well as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent systems for various applications. Our main activities are research and teaching in image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, and hardware design for image acquisition and processing. We have a separate Image and Vision Engineering Lab equipped with cameras, workstations, and biometrics tools. High-performance computing is performed using Nvidia DGX A100 AI Data Center in a Box. The research group has also undertaken several high valued research projects.
