Title: Fractal Dimension and its Application in Image Processing

Descriptiion: Fractal Dimension(FD) is a tool to measure the roughness present in an image in terms of a real number. There are a number of methods available to compute FD of images but Differential Box Counting (DBC) is popular. My research area lies in modifying various parameters of DBC to enhance the computed FD values.
