ABOUT IIITDM JABALPUR

PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur (IIITDMJ) is a unique Institute established by MHRD Govt. of India in collaboration with Govt. of Japan, to promote interdisciplinary research in the area of design and manufacturing. To promote interdisciplinary research, Institute is following unique curriculum which provides students with an opportunity to gain interdisciplinary skills. Institute is also running Master of Design and M. Tech. program in Mechatronics, apart from the B. Tech. and M. Tech. programs in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), and Mechanical (ME). Institute also offers Ph.D. program in ME, CSE, ECE and Design. Indo-Japanese Collaboration
The Institute is being developed and nurtured under India - Japan partnership as a unique Institute of its kind with focus on IT enabled design and manufacturing. Under a joint agreement between the two Governments, Japan, a leader in cutting edge manufacturing technologies is committed to provide support for development of the teaching and research programmes and also to promote the infrastructure of the Institute. For effective implementation of this collaboration, Government of Japan has formed a consortium of six universities and six industries which includes University of Tokyo, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tohoku University, Kyushu University, Shibaura Institute of Technology, and Kanagawa Institute of Technology among Universities and Hitachi, Toshiba, Amada, Okuma, Sumitomo Metals, and GE Energy among industries.
