PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur, one of the premier technical Institutes of the country, established by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, invites applications on the prescribed form from suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on the following posts ( on regular/deputation/contractual basis).

While applying against the vacancy which is reserved, the candidates are required to attach the Caste Certificate in the format as prescribed by the Govt. of India. With other things remaining equal, preference will be given to Physically Handicapped candidate(s).

 

Qualifications and Experience for the above Posts [Serial-wise]

 

The essential/ desirable qualification and experience for the above posts, as per serial number, are given as under:

 

1.

(1) Essential qualification :- (i) Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale OR Chartered Accountant with 55% marks in graduation
(ii) Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs.6000/- and above with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or educational institutions of higher education OR total 5 years of experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
(2) Terms and conditions of deputation will be as per the Govt. of India norms.
(3) *The selection to the Post of Deputy Registrar will be on Regular/deputation/contract basis and will be provisional subject to the disposal of W.P. No. 11552/2008 filed in M.P. High Court Principal Bench Jabalpur by Satyendu Mohan Vs. Union of India & others.
(4) Desirable qualification :- (i) Experience in Finance and Accounts /Audit / Purchase & Stores in a responsible position. OR
(ii) Experience of Human Resource Management/ Academics/ Examination systems of IITs/IIITs/NITs in a responsible position.
(iii) Proficiency in Computer Operations, Office Softwares and Internet.


(5) Age : Upto 45 Years.

(1) Essential qualification :-A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
(ii) A minimum of 08 years experience in Planning, Design, Construction and maintenance of Civil Engineering Projects and civil contract management. Out of the above at least 04 years experience should be at the level of Assistant Engineer or equivalent OR at least 15 years of total experience in Planning, Design, Construction and Maintenance of Civil Engineering Projects and Civil Contract Management.
(2) Desirable qualification :- Experience of work in a Govt organization with knowledge of CPWD procedures in the capacity of Junior Engineer/Asstt. Engineer or equivalent.

(3) Age : Upto 45 Years

(1) Essential qualification :- Master's degree in any discipline with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC 7 pt scale along with a good academic record OR Chartered Accountant with 55% marks in graduation.
(2) Desirable qualification :-(i) Experience in Finance and Accounts /Audit / Purchase & stores in a supervisory capacity. OR
(ii) Experience of Human Resource Management/ Academics/ Examination systems of IITs/IIITs/NITs in a supervisory capacity.
(iii) Proficiency in Computer Operations, Office Softwares and Internet

(3) Age upto 35 Years.

4.

(1) Essential qualification :- First Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engg.+3 years relevant experience OR Recognized diploma in Civil Engg. of 3 years duration with 08 years experience in civil construction works and its maintenance.
2) Desirable qualification :- Experience of work in a Govt organization with knowledge of CPWD procedures in a supervisory capacity.

(3) Age : Upto 35 Years

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Persons serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs etc should send their applications either THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL or should furnish a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview. They can, however, send an advance copy along with the DEMAND DRAFT in original.
  2. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-Serviceman/Departmental candidates/Govt servants will be as per Govt of India norms.
  3. Besides pay, the posts carry allowances according to the Institute rules which at present are at par with the Central Government employees stationed at Jabalpur (MP).
  4. The Institute reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications/experience in exceptional cases of meritorious and outstanding candidates.
  5. Higher initial basic pay may be given to exceptionally qualified and deserving candidate(s).
  6. The Institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interview.
  7. Fulfillment of essential qualifications per se does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
  8. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the post, cancel the Advt. without assigning any reason and its decision in this regard shall be final.
  9. For the post of Assistant Registrar/Assistant Engineer the selection process generally consists of written test and/or skill test followed by an interview and for the post of Deputy Registrar/ Executive Engineer selection will be through presentations and interview only. Candidates called for test and/ or interview against Assistant Registrar/ Deputy Registrar/ Executive Engineer/Assistant Engineer positions will be paid to and fro AC-II rail fare.
  10. Incomplete applications/ application without relevant supporting enclosures/ without attested copies of certificates/ without prescribed fee/ application not on prescribed form will be out rightly rejected. Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay. Interim correspondence will not be entertained.
  11. The advertisement No. 5/2011 for the post of Dy. Registrar stands cancelled due to administrative reasons.

Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs.200/- drawn in favour of "REGISTRAR, PDPM- IIITDM JABALPUR" payable at any nationalized bank at Jabalpur. The issue date of demand draft should be within the duration of Advt. SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are not required to submit the demand draft. Prescribed application form may be downloaded from Institutes' website www.iiitdmj.ac.in. Age limit for posts is 18-27 years. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per GOI Rules for various categories SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-Servicemen/ PH. Age relaxation for educationally qualified meritorious candidates having adequate experience of working in Central/ State Autonomous Bodies/ Institutes will be up to a maximum of 38 years.

 

The essential qualification and experience for the above posts are as under:

 

Technical Assistant

 

(i) M.Sc. in appropriate field/ B.Tech/ B.E. or B.Sc with two years relevant experience. OR MCA with one year experience. OR Three years diploma in Engineering in appropriate field with 3 years of relevant work experience OR 10+2 with Govt. approved/ recognized ITI course of 12 months duration in relevant field with 5 years of work experience in relevant field as LA or equivalent (ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.

 

 

Lab Assistant

 

(i) Bachelors degree in appropriate field OR Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in appropriate field. OR B.Sc degree in appropriate field or BCA. OR Diploma in Engineering of 3 years duration with one year experience OR (10+2) with Govt. approved/ recognized ITI course of 12 months duration in appropriate field with 3 years of relevant experience.  (ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
