B.Tech. Programme
Admissions to the B.Tech.programme are made once a year in July through JEE (Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. The minimum academic qualification for admission is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one among Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science and Biology as optional subjects. The procedures and other requirements for admission are specified in the JEE (Main) Information Brochure.
For admission of students for Foreign Nation will be through DASA(Direct Admission of Students Abroad)
Reservations: Reservations for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates are as per the Government of India existing rules.

B.Des Programme
The Institute invites applications for admission to 4 year, 8 semester Undergraduate Programme in Design i.e. Bachelor of Design (B,Des.) for academic year 2015-16:
Eligibility for Admission
- Admission to B. Des. Programme is based purely on the basis of UCEED score and rank conducted by IIT Bombay.
- Age Limit: The candidate should have born on or after October 01, 1995 if belonging to the GEN or OBC-NCL category and on or after October 01, 1990 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.
- Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. However, UCEED 2015 being the first UCEED examination, it will be the first attempt for all candidates.
- Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2014, OR passed or appeared in 2015 for the class XII (or equivalent) examination. Those who appeared for the first time in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2013 or earlier are NOT eligible.

i) Reserved seats will be filled as per Govt. of India rules,The detailed information about on line application for UG admission can be seen on the Institute website www.iiitdmj.ac.in. Online applications filing for B.Des programme is from July 01, 2015 to July 07, 2015 till 05:30 pm. Kindly note that Institute will accept only online application forms submitted along with copy of the Demand Draft (scan copy to be uploaded) of Rs. 500/- for Gen and OBC & Rs. 300/- for SC/ST category candidates. Demand Draft has to be drawn in favor of The Registrar, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, issued by any nationalized bank, payable at Jabalpur.
